Parasols 03:05
I felt that in my soul I feel like it might've aged me I sail this hardship like I'm waving Down a friend that I know It felt like a feather wrapped in pillows made of glass But I don't let it phase me So I guess that it leaves me With nowhere to go I felt that on my shoulders I tried on 'tired of being tired' And paired it with 'I'm uninspired' With 'I'm sorry' in tow It felt like a feather wrapped in pillows made of glass But I don't let it phase me (I don't let it phase me) So I guess that it leaves me (So it leaves me) With nowhere to go It felt like a feather wrapped in pillows made of glass But I don't let it phase me (I don't let it phase me) So I guess that it leaves me (So it leaves me) With nowhere to go I felt that in my soul I feel like it might've aged me I sail this hardship like I'm waving Down a friend that I know

about

The song is about the feeling of disappointment and the ambiguity of what happens after these emotions dissipate.

I was inspired by the concept of ending tracks on albums I enjoy - they tended to be slower and downtempo forays - a little bit experimental and contrasting to the body of work in previous tracks.

Produced by frequent collaborator Jono Fernandez (who also releases under the moniker 'Junoe')
