I teamed up again with the talented Jono Fernandez. I had tried my hand at composing a base chord progression which he played around with and I took influence from theaudience's 'a pessimist is never disappointed' and kings of convenience's 'misread'

The tracks lyrics stem from the manifestation that guilt can develop and progressively morph into a neurosis that can take over a person's mind. In some situations where people may find success, a guilt develops from enjoying it too much or at all, and then waiting for something negative to happen, as if to balance out the circumstance.

filter in, it's sink or swim
while I'm on this elevator
